en عمومى General پژوهشي Research Article <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:16.0pt"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b><i><span style="font-size:9.0pt">Background & Aims</span></i></b><b><span style="font-size:9.0pt">: </span></b><span style="font-size:9.0pt">Background: One of the most common benign tumors that arise from the smooth muscles of the uterine wall is leiomyoma. In this study, the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and total antioxidant capacity (TAC) were assessed in leiomyoma patients and compared with healthy individuals. </span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:16.0pt"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b><i><span style="font-size:9.0pt">Materials & Methods</span></i></b><b><span style="font-size:9.0pt">:</span></b><span style="font-size:9.0pt"> In this case-control study, 50 women with leiomyoma and 50 healthy women were selected as case and control groups, respectively.
