Health Science Monitor (Health Sci. Monit.) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It is published quarterly in electronic format by Urmia University of Medical Sciences (UMSU) and serves as the publication of the School of Public Health, UMSU, Urmia, Iran. HSM publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, scientific letters, letters to the editor, short communications, and protocols, encompassing all dimensions of the science, philosophy, and practice of public health science. HSM is intended for healthcare professionals, researchers, and those who manage and deliver Health Science Monitor across all age groups and settings. The journal warmly welcomes contributions that encompass a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to:
